Inspired by aviation technology, the Torgoen T10105 T10 draws on the clean look necessary in a cockpit environment to be able to easily see and read in both daylight and low light conditions with it’s large hands and digits.
Founded by private pilot Benzi Rosenski, Torgoen – Professional Pilot Watches began it’s production run of watches in 1998. A young company by many watchmaking standards, but one with a great lineup of aviation inspired designs.
The Torgoen T10105 T10 Carbon Fiber – Swiss Aviation Watch is a great looking timepiece that uses a black ion-plated stainless steel case and bezel. The case is 45mm in diameter by 14mm thick, and the watch weighs in at 3.2 Oz., so a very nice size for many people.
A Ronda 515S.2 Swiss quartz movement is used to drive this 3 hand design. The oversized luminescent hour and minute hands make this watch very easy to read even in low light conditions.
A date window can also be found at the 4:30 position.
The feature that really stands out is the carbon fiber dial, an absolutely beautiful touch on the T10105 T10.
Large luminescent Arabic hour indicators can be found at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions, as well as luminescent hour indicators at the remaining positions.
Holding it to your wrist is a black Italian leather strap with white stitching and IP black stainless steel buckle.
The Torgoen T10105 T10 is water resistant to 10ATM/100m/330ft, which is a nice bonus considering the fact this is an aviation style watch.
Overall, I find the T10105 T10 from Torgoen a gorgeous design that is an excellent addition to the lineup of aviation designs available on the market today.
